Coverage check (2026-10-24), folder coverage-check/
  Compared with CBIC Customs Tariff of India, First Schedule, "Tariff (as on 30.06.2025)",
  the newest full tariff on www.cbic.gov.in (Customs > Tariff), chapters 1-98.
  Rows CBIC marks "Omitted" and codes misprinted under the wrong chapter were left out.
  - 4-digit: all CBIC headings are in the GST list.
  - 8-digit: all 12,252 CBIC tariff items are in the GST list except 1: 72122099.
    (CBIC itself prints both 7212 20 90 "Other" and 7212 20 99 "Other"; GST has 90 and 91.)
  - 6-digit: 16 CBIC subheadings have no 6-digit row in the GST list,
    but their 8-digit codes are in it (see the CSV).
  - The GST list also holds 2,367 8-digit codes that are not in the current tariff
    (samples look like older codes from earlier HS versions; full list in the CSV). These codes may be outdated:
    check one against the current tariff before you use it on a new invoice.
  - Not checked: tariff changes after 30.06.2025 (e.g. Finance Act 2026, from 1 May 2026),
    because CBIC has not published a newer full tariff.
